Lumbering working: our control point setters have reported that some areas very near to some controls have been affected by very recent wood working in the past few days. This means that participants may encounter tracks of the heavy machinery that have created new paths not drawn in the map. Also, in a concrete small zone, all trees have been obliterated turning a forest into a rough open land.
Reminder of fences: they are not represented on the map, and during the course participants will probably need to cross some of them. Be very careful if you decide to pass over/through/under them, as they usually have spikes attached. Along the fences, there may be passages (mostly in road intersections) that must always be left as they were found (usually closed).
During the map distribution, a cardboard will be given (one per team) to ease the teams’ strategy.
GPS tracking will not be available until 1 hour after the start of the race.
